Statement from Mark Smith

On the evening of Friday 28th February 1997my girlfriend Lisa
BRUTON and I were at 7 Cormorant Way to spend the evening with my mother, Tina Court and step-father Melvyn. My sister Carla was in bed early. Melvyn was out until about 11.00pm playing skittles, but my mother, Lisa and I spent the evening together. Melvyn went up to bed first around midnight and my mother went up shortly afterwards.
